COATING PAN

We are engaged in offering our esteemed clients with a qualitative range of Coating Pans, these are widely used in the process of coating tablets and confectionaries, wherein the skills of the coater need to be supplemented by a correctly designed, versatile coating pan. Our range has a very heavy & sturdy structure and is made from angles as well as channels. The complete structures of these coating pans are covered from all sides with hinges provided on two sides (left & right) of the structure. These also have bolts fixed to the structure.

The coating pans offered by us also include variable speed pulley system made out of cast iron, with motor slides and up to 72″ size for speed variation. It also includes motor & worm reduction gears as per clients’ requirements (A.C. frequency drive for variable speed of coating pan will be also provided on demand.

Our range is fabricated using 0 SWG, SS304, SS316 or SS316 L materials and polished to have mirror finish in the inner side and matt finish on the exteriors. These are designed after a careful study of the needs of expert coaters such as rotational speed, angle of inclination of pan, inside finishing of the pan, total volume and temperature of the hot air.

CONSTRUTION & OPERATION

  1. PAN: SS 316 semi ellipsoidal size pan with a circular mouth for charging & discharging of tablets. Pan mounted at an inclination of 45 degrees to the horizontal.
  2. DRIVE ASSEMBLY: Consists of a suitable HP 3 Phase, 440 V, and 1440-RPM TEFC motor with suitable worm reduction gearbox and cone pulley arrangement to give three-speed output.
  3. HOT AIR BLOWER: The unit is provided with a hot air blower consisting of suitable HP 3 Phase 440 V, 2880-RPM TEFC electric motor & centrifugal blower with damper delivering required CFM. The air is heated by means of suitable electric heater to give air at 30 to 90 degrees. Heater with thermostat control and flexible hose pipe.
  4. CONTROL PANEL: Unit provided with suitable control panel with starters and push button to actuate the drive and for blower. The circuits consist of MCCBs, relays, and contractors in series. Ample overload protection is provided by the MCCB and the relay. Wires coming out of the connections are numbered for easy recognition.
  5. MOUNTING: The motor and gearbox are mounted inside sturdy MS frame and the pan mounted on the Gearing housing fitted in the stand. Blower mounted by the side of the stand or placed in remote location if required.
  6. FINISH: All joints argon Arc welded and all SS Parts polished to suitable finish required of pharmaceutical equipment. MS parts painted to smooth finish.
  7. OPERATION: The product is to be filled inside the pan. During the rotation motion, coating material is sprayed by spraying system according to the technological process and rational technological process. So process materials (product) are coated due to rotating pan. The coating round pot is rotated by variable speed. At the same time hot air is supplied through inbuilt Hot air blower system which dries rapidly (heating or cooling) and evenly thus forming a solid and smooth surface.
